Registration Information About You

We ask for Personal Information about you when you create a "User Account". User Accounts are required for you to (a) purchase software, software upgrades, product accessories, and other materials from directly Turnstyle Switch (including, without limitation, your name, billing address, email address, credit card number and expiration date); (b) register your Turnstyle Switch product(s) with us (including, without limitation, your name, email address, and residential address); and (c) participate in the Website forums and bulletin boards.

Product Support and Service Information

We may ask for Personal Information and non-personal information in connection with our technical support and product repair services. All such requests are linked to your User Account for ease of access by you.

My Profile Information

We may ask for Personal Information and non-personal information about your interests, preferences and future needs. This information is stored in the ‘My Profile’ section of your User Account and may be modified by you at any time.

Newsletter Subscription Information

From time to time we provide information to our users in the form of electronic and/or print newsletters. When you create a User Account or register products with Turnstyle Switch, you will be added to our mailing list and will receive announcements and information about Turnstyle Switch and Turnstyle Switch's Service Partners (defined below). Please see the "Turnstyle Switch Service Partners" and "Opt-Out Policy" paragraphs below for opt-out information if you do not want to receive announcements and information from Turnstyle Switch Service Partners. The newsletters will be emailed or mailed directly to the address that you provide when you register. You may also subscribe to receive electronic newsletters and information, without registering a product, by submitting your email address only.

We do not request, and we ask that you not provide, "sensitive information," that is, Personal Information indicating medical or health conditions, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religions or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or information specifying sexual orientation. This information is not relevant to the use of the Website.

USE OF YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Use by Turnstyle Switch

We use Personal Information to respond to your inquiries, improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyze site usage, to improve the Website and our service offers, and to customize our services and the Website. We may use Personal Information to deliver information to you and to contact you regarding administrative notices. We may also use Personal Information to resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.

Turnstyle Switch and its Service Partners use your Personal Information to operate their sites and to deliver their services. Turnstyle Switch's Service Partners may also use your Personal Information to inform you of other products or services available from those Service Partners. This would include, by way of example, marketing and promotional mailings relating to Turnstyle Switch products and services. YOUR TEXAS PRIVACY RIGHTS

Turnstyle Switch collects various types of personally identifiable information about you during the course of our customer relationship. Under Texas law, if you are a resident of Texas, you may make a written request to Turnstyle Switch about how we have shared your information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. In response to your written request, Turnstyle Switch is allowed to provide you with a notice describing the cost-free means to opt-out of our sharing your information with third parties with whom we do not share the same brand name, if the third party will use such information for its direct marketing purposes.

If you would like to exercise your rights under Texas law, please send our written request to the email address or postal address below. Please include your postal address in your request. Within thirty (30) days of receiving your written request, Turnstyle Switch will provide you with a Third Party Direct Marketing Out-Out Form so you may request that your personal information not be disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

Turnstyle Switch undertakes practical and reasonable steps to protect Personal Information from unauthorized or accidental access, disclosure, misuse or processing, or from alteration, destruction or loss. Personal Information that we collect is accessible only to personnel who, by virtue of their duties, are required to have access and have been trained in, and tasked with, the observance of the principles embodied in this Privacy Policy. 

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using OpenSSL software (see www.openssl.org for more information).

We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

We receive credit card information using industry standard SSL encryption and store the credit cards using two-way encryption. This information is stored until you choose delete the card or change your billing information.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
